An API client for the command line

The gostman binary works with the same collections as the app. Send one request and pipe the result, run a whole collection with its checks, or start a mock server, with no runtime to install.

Commands

  • send: one saved or ad hoc request; prints only the body, or one value with --select
  • run and flow run: a collection or a flow with its scripts and checks, with exit codes and reports
  • mock and capture: a local mock server from saved examples or an OpenAPI spec, and a recording proxy
  • load, scan and lint: a load test, a secret scanner and an OpenAPI linter
  • import and export: Postman, Insomnia, Bruno, OpenAPI, HAR and more

Install

Download the gostman-cli archive for your platform from the releases page, or install it with go install github.com/kunalgoesbyken/gostman/cmd/gostman@latest.
